In the late 1800’s, developers brought a street car line up Connecticut Avenue to help populate the areas of MD and DC that were being developed. The DC area of Chevy Chase started seeing more development in the early 1900’s and the area was quickly built up with a wide variety of homes. Bordered by Rock Creek Park on the east, this area is sought after for its small town feel while being well served by public transportation.
