North Bethesda is an area that was once Rockville but wasn’t in the incorporated part of Rockville. As the name indicates, the area bordered Bethesda to the north and North Bethesda helped better identify the location. Located on the Metro red-line, the area is very convenient and is home to several large employers, the Montgomery County convention and meeting center, Strathmore Music and Arts complex and a multitude of shopping and dining.
